The Victory of Vindication is Yours

Last night, just as I was dozing off to sleep I heard the phrase, "The victory of vindication is yours!" and with it I saw a picture of a flock of geese flying in "V" formation.

The Lord immediately reminded me of the end of Isaiah 54 where the Lord says, '...no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me,' declares the Lord."

The sense I got with this picture and word was that the Lord was entering into the lives of His people to bring vindication and victory where there has seemed to be defeat.

The definition of vindication is "to set free, avenge, or lay claim to". We are entering a season of great vindication where many will feel avenged and set free of the past and reoccurring difficulties and disappointments. It is a season of freedom where many prison doors will be opened and captives set free. There will be a lot of celebration as the chains fall off!

As I pondered the picture of the geese, I felt I heard him say to stay in the updraft of victory. The victory is already ours. We don't operate to obtain victory, we operate from victory. Just as the geese fly somewhat effortlessly as they stay in the "V" formation, we move forward in victory from a place of worship and rest in His finished work. Like the geese, it will be important to stay in formation as we fly through this season. Stay in the place of worship and rest as you move forward in the updraft of His victory for you.

In my last word I mentioned "recompense" and the 4 R's coming. His recompense and vindication will walk hand in hand as He comes to bring His retribution, redemption, and reward.

"No weapon formed against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you".(Isa.54:17)
