Divine Interruptions Coming

In the last couple of weeks the Lord has been speaking to me about preparing our hearts for Divine interruptions that are coming. Recently, He gave me the phrase, "We interrupt this regularly scheduled program". Many of you may remember this as the way the Emergency Broadcast Service would interrupt television to make important announcements of national or local importance. In the Church I believe that the move of God that is coming will have the potential to interrupt a lot of regularly scheduled programs. It's not that these programs are bad, but they will no longer fit the demands that will inevitably come as a result of the greatest harvest ever.

Flexibility will become more and more important as the waves of revival wash on our shores. Walking hand-in-hand with the Holy Spirit will be the only way to successfully navigate through the deepening waters.

I also heard the phrase, "I'm upsetting the apple cart". The Google dictionary defines the phrase, "upset the apple cart" as "spoil a plan or disturb the status quo". Friends, I believe God has already begun upsetting the apple cart in the hearts and lives of many people, and in the churches across our land. I see Him disturbing the status quo in our government and each of the seven mountains of influence as well.

God doesn't come to disturb the status quo to cause us difficulty, but I feel He is on a mission to set us all up for greater glory and the advancement of His kingdom. He loves us too much to allow us to continue on a path that would lead to lesser glory, but instead is Divinely interrupting lives, situations, and plans in order to bring greater increase for His kingdom.

When you are building something new, the first step is to lay a proper foundation. If a structure is built on a faulty foundation, then the whole thing is in danger of collapsing. We are in a season of seeing faulty foundations dismantled so that they can be rebuilt and restored. Cracks in the foundation are being exposed so that they can be mended and repaired to once again bear weight. The breadth and depth of the foundations needs to be in proportion to what God is getting ready to do. If the repairing and preparation process seems lengthy and intense, it is because He is getting ready to release something amazing and it will be worth the effort!

Along with this, the Body of Christ has been going through a purification process, and I believe this process will continue. There is a "winnowing" taking place in the hearts and lives of many. Again, the Google dictionary defines winnowing as "blow a current of air through (grain) in order to remove the chaff." The Spirit of God is blowing through His Church to remove the chaff, or worthless things, so that a pure representation of Him arises. He already clothed us with His righteousness and seated us with Him in Heavenly places. It is only right and fitting that the Bride began believing and seeing Herself as righteous and empowered. We will always act like who we believe we are. It is time for the true identity of the Bride to be known and released. All of creation has longed for this day.

For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. Romans 8:19

To prepare for the unknown can be difficult, but there are some keys that we can implement that will give us our stance for the coming days. Firstly, we give Him our "yes" before we know what He requires. When a bride and groom speak their wedding vows, they make a commitment without knowing what life may bring them. His love for us and our love for Him empowers our "yes" to come forth in confidence. Our hearts trust fully in Him and He is worthy of our full surrender.

Secondly, we position our selves to see and listen like Habakkuk did when he stationed himself on the ramparts (high places) in Hab. 2:1, "I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what he will say to me.....".

Like the Children of Israel who were given the instructions to wait and follow the ark of the covenant because "you have never been this way before"(Josh. 3:4b), we are to position ourselves to wait, watch, and follow the Presence of God into this new season with hearts who have fully given Him our "YES!".
